The short version. Critter Jam has no accounts and does not ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or precise location to play. Your game progress is saved on your device. We use Google Firebase to understand gameplay and fix crashes, and Google AdMob to serve ads. These services may collect identifiers, approximate location, interactions and diagnostic data as explained below. The first Google Play release does not offer purchases with real money. We do not sell your personal information.

1. Who we are
NTKL Studio, 55 Xuân La, Hà Nội, Vietnam ("we", "us"), makes the mobile game Critter Jam (the "Game") for iOS, iPadOS and Android, and runs this website. This policy explains what information the Game and this website handle, why, and the choices you have. NTKL Studio is the controller of the information described here.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. None is required to play. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write.
Game data stored on your device. Your full save file, including level progress, stars, coins, achievements and settings (language, sound), is saved locally on your device. The Game does not upload this save file. Gameplay analytics may report events about your progress as described below.
Analytics, crash and configuration data (Google Firebase). The Game uses Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Remote Config. These services automatically collect:
- app-instance and installation identifiers, and the Android Advertising ID where available (not your name or phone number);
- device and app information: device model, operating system version, app version, language, screen size;
- approximate location at country or region level, derived from your IP address (no precise GPS location);
- gameplay events: for example levels started, won or lost, moves used, boosters used and ads watched;
- crash reports and diagnostic logs when the Game stops unexpectedly.
Google processes this information on our behalf. See Firebase privacy and security and Google's Privacy Policy.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, precise location or browsing history.
3. How we use it
- to run the Game and keep your progress;
- to find and fix crashes and bugs;
- to understand which levels are too hard or too easy and improve the Game;
- to adjust settings remotely (for example level tuning or how often ads appear) without a new release;
- to measure ads and in-game rewards;
- to answer your messages and provide support;
- to comply with law and protect the Game against fraud and abuse.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Game, on performing our agreement with you, on legal obligations, and on your consent where the law requires consent (for example personalized ads).
4. Advertising
The Game uses Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK) to show banner, interstitial, native, app-open and optional rewarded ads. Google AdMob may collect and share your IP address (used to estimate approximate location), advertising ID and other device or app identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic information. These data are used to provide and measure advertising, understand performance and prevent fraud. Data sent by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. See Google's Privacy Policy and Google's explanation of data used by its advertising services.
- The current iOS build does not request App Tracking Transparency permission. It does not obtain permission to access your IDFA through an ATT prompt.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings.
- Where required, including in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, the Game uses Google's User Messaging Platform to present consent choices before requesting ads as permitted by your consent status. Where available, open Settings → Ad privacy choices to review or change your choice.
Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily prevent all ads or all data collection needed to serve ads. Firebase analytics and crash reporting operate separately from the advertising consent form and are described in Section 2.
The first Google Play release has no paid Remove Ads option. Existing saved Remove Ads entitlements from earlier builds continue to turn off ads shown automatically; optional rewarded ads remain available.
5. In-app purchases
The first Google Play release does not offer purchases with real money. Coins and rewards earned in the Game can be spent on eligible in-game items, including sound packs and boosters. This release does not collect payment-card details or process store payments. If paid purchases are added later, we will update this policy and the store disclosures before enabling them.
6. Sharing
We share information only with:
- Google Firebase for analytics, crash reporting and remote configuration, and Google AdMob and its advertising partners for the purposes described in Section 4;
- Apple and Google, for app distribution;
- authorities, when the law requires it or to protect rights, safety and security;
- a successor, if NTKL Studio or the Game is sold or merged (this policy will continue to protect your information).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising except as described in the Advertising section and only with your permission where the law or the platform requires it.
7. Retention and security
Local campaign data stays until you reset progress, clear the app's storage or delete the Game; Reset progress keeps sound-pack and existing purchase entitlements. Analytics and crash data are kept only as long as needed for the purposes above and are then deleted or aggregated, according to the retention settings of the Firebase services. Advertising data is handled under Google's policies linked in Section 4. Emails are kept as long as needed to help you. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no system is perfectly secure.
8. Your choices and rights
- You can play without giving us any personal details.
- You can limit ad tracking in your device settings (see Advertising).
- Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK, California or other US states), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To use them, contact us (see Contact). You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Data deletion
- On your device: open Settings → Reset progress and confirm to reset levels, stars, achievements, coins and boosters on this device. Sound-pack and existing purchase entitlements are kept. This does not delete data already sent to Firebase or advertising services. To remove all app-local data, use Android's Clear storage control or uninstall the Game.
- Analytics and crash data: email us with the subject "Delete my data" and tell us your platform (iOS or Android). We will delete the data linked to your app instance that we can identify, within 30 days, and confirm when it is done. Because we have no accounts, we may ask you for details that help us find it.
- Advertising data: use the advertising choices described in Section 4 and Google's privacy controls, or contact us for help with a request.
10. Children
Critter Jam is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the higher minimum age in your country, such as 16 in some EEA countries). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
11. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than yours, including Vietnam and the United States. Where required, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
12. This website
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no advertising. Our web server keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and troubleshooting, for a short period.
13. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, for important changes, tell you in the Game or on this website before they take effect.
